NEW YORK, NY – Chelsea’s Agora Gallery will feature the original work of Loïc Vendrame in Chelsea International Photography Competition . The exhibition opens January 27, 2018 and runs through February 7,  2018 with an opening reception on Thursday, February 1 from 6-8 pm.  The photographs of Loïc Vendrame introduce viewers to novel architectural perspectives at the margins of structures that might feel entirely familiar. In his photography, the most functional designs become a source of ritualistic mystery.   With a tonal range that encompasses the uncanny as much as the sublime, Vendrame communicates to viewers the architectural elegance that exists even after the utility of a building has long been abandoned. With an eye for the grandeur of these derelict structures, the artist peels back the histories layered into each building he photographs, mindful of the labor these structures have consolidated.   Exhibition Dates: January 27 - February 7, 2018 Reception: Thursday, February 1, 2018 6-8 PM Gallery Hours: Tues-Sat 11:00am – 6:00pm Gallery Location: 530 West 25th Street, New York, NY Event URL: https://www.agora-gallery.com/artistpage/Lo%C3%AFc_Vendrame.aspx   Featured Artists: Andres Marcolla | Eduard Korniyenko | David Bartlett | Misha De-Stroyev | Alain Licari |  Niki Polyocan | Steve Sumpton | Loïc Vendrame | ANTONIO PRIVITERA | Anca Moanta | Jeremy Damato | Gustavo Mittelmann | Eli Matityahu | Vincent Chahley | Artur Golacki | SIDNEY COSTA GASPAR | HaleLee Seoyeon | Laura Pannack | Steffen Tuck | Cecilia Manzanares Vargas | Stephanus Meyer | Michela Carmazzi | Alina Fedorenko | Ivan Pushkin | Jacob Wallwork | Kévin Galop | Clay Jordan |Tibor Kércz   About the Exhibition The Chelsea International Photography Competition The Chelsea International Photography Competition exhibition features the diverse works of 28 professional and amateur photographers.
